This site is a gathering place for reference materials about the educational resources available at William and Mary's new School of Education. These documents are accurate at the time they are written, but the educational technology world is pretty fluid, and documents change to reflect shifts in blood or atmospheric pressure. Particularly over the next month or so, we'll be force feeding content into this wiki, so there may be lots of stubs, placeholders and sentences where it seems that the writer just ran of steam.

  • If you have a question or request, send it soetech@wm.edu. That email goes to all of us on the team, and we'll fall all over ourselves trying to be the first one to answer your question--or at least pass it off to someone who can.

  • It's easy to help with making this a better site. The documents are contained within an open wiki, which makes it easy for anyone to fix a typo, repair a broken link or clean up some unclear grammar or syntax. If you're not sure exactly how to fix something or if you want to introduce an idea to the mix, add a comment in line or use the discussion tab at the top of each page.

  • If you'd like to know more about some of the stories behind these pages, visit or subscribe to our SOETech News . We'll be keeping a running blog of more free-form news, updates and ideas that don't fit into a reference format.

  • If you'd like to know more about the people involved with the effort, check out the staff page.
